SINGULARITÉS

- video installation - 2015 -

The city is a perfect theater of operations, an open area that proposes its avenues, its districts and its architecture as so many grounds to explore in which the improvisation of gestures, actions and interventions can take place¹.

From the simple passer-by who crosses the sidewalk to the one who does not leave him, sometimes even sleeping on the bench next door, the lifestyles that one finds in town are infinite. Whether it's a minute, a couple of hours, or a few weeks when you're in the street, it's a time when you live in it.

As a multitude of windows overlooking multiple inhabitants this video installation shows us various practices of the city within varied places and times. Just as the character of Jeff in Rear Window the viewer observes without seeing each of these people. Each video is a murderess, a keyhole through which one penetrates in their intimate space.
